EPISODE 1: "We Built This Algorithm Brick by Brick"
We're sitting down with Orlando's community connectors to hear how they've built gathering spaces where people actually connect, show up for each other, and create relationships that last. They'll share what it actually takes to create and sustain community, the wins and the struggles, and what they've learned about showing up consistently even when it's hard.
But this conversation isn't just for people who want to organize. It's for everyone who wants to understand what it takes to build real community in a city that's constantly changing.
This isn't just an event, it's a conversation. We're creating space for the builders, the organizers, the people who show up every month because they believe in what's possible when people gather with intention.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Community building hour with conversation prompts and connection activities (not just small talk), light bites, cocktails, and mocktails served
- 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Panel conversation with community organizers sharing what they've learned about building and sustaining community
- 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Reflection and wrap up - space to process what resonated and what you're taking with you
