The Good Gather is a convening of those who care about how we spend time together.

You want presence and generous listening. The opportunity to be known and share pieces of our stories.
If rather than always scheduled social time, you find yourself wishing for more unstructured hangs. You like the idea of people dropping by for tea. Or running errands with a friend. Cooking meals together. Perhaps just doing our thing alongside each other in a place without even needing to interact!
Join us this evening if life sometimes feels too isolated or too independent, and you hope for more friendships with a sense of taking care of one another, plus a lotta play and laughter.

Each gather will have a theme. We’re starting off with Music. Our love for it… what has moved us or shaped moments of life. We’ll connect for about an hour—in pairs and small groups—swapping stories. A favorite live show. The song that marked a significant moment. Your guilty pleasure you listened to in secret as a kid. (*NSYNC, anyone?)
Then settle in to enjoy a set from soulful folk singer Scott T. Smith, joining us from Louisville, KY, and fresh off of playing at Sundance! Because bonding doesn’t happen all through conversation; it also comes from shared experience. Delighting in wonder as you take in a great song and smiling at the person next to you like “are you seeing this too?!”
Come enjoy a new type of social event. No random prompts with random people. No stressing over what to talk about with a stranger, or whether you actually feel like talking at all. Connect over shared interest and common purpose. Easefully meet some really good people and deepen friendships with those you already know.
