Join us in our Sandra and William H. Speiden auditorium for a presentation, "The Golden Age of Virginia Dairy Farming, 1918-1965." A unique set of circumstances began evolving at the end of WWI that gave dairy farmers in Virginia, southern Maryland, and northern North Carolina a private, protected -and lucrative -market for their milk. Things began to unravel in the 1960s, andby the 1980s, it was pretty much all over.
The program will be presented by Frank and Bernice Walker and Bill Speiden.
