The Giant Carrot storytime at Hexham Library

Celebrate the humble carrot with us as we share the story of The Giant Carrot by Penny Dann, served with a generous helping of crunchy crafts to follow.

Everyone who attends will be offered the opportunity take part in the Great Hexham Carrot Growing Competition as part of the town's Stories From Our Patch Project and can collect their seeds from the Seed Library to take home.

This story and craft session is aimed primary school aged children together with their adults.

Both this session and entry into the competition are FREE but places are limited so need to be booked in advance. For further information please contact the library directly.
