The 19.12 to London has a curious array of passengers. As the classes mix, they get to know their fellow travellers and enjoy the reliable and punctual service that British Rail offered in the 1920s – that is, until the shock discovery of the murdered body of one of the riders.A Detective who happens to be on board quickly takes charge of the investigation, helped out by a hapless but enthusiastic recently trained police officer. Together they attempt to track the murderer’s route – it has to be someone on the train – can they work it out before anyone else befalls the same fate?
