About this Event
Trip 19 brings a full night of turntablism to The Silo Room, a rare showcase dedicated entirely to the art of the DJ. Five turntablists will each take over the decks for 30-minute sets, pushing, scratching, beat juggling, vinyl manipulation, and genre bending selections through the towering acoustics of our historic empty grain silos before the night culminates with a special one-hour closing set from legendary selector and sonic architect, The Gaslamp Killer.
Built inside a 100+ year old former bread factory in Logan Heights, The Silo Room has become known for immersive audio experiences, underground programming, and performances that feel ritualistic. Trip 19 continues that mission by spotlighting the raw craft and unpredictability of live turntablism in one of the most unique listening environments in Southern California.
