Tickets are donation based, guests attending can make a donation at the door with cash, cash app or card.
We open our stage to live performances by actors, singers, authors and poets who are ready to share their artistry with others!
In honor of artists everywhere, our local gallery is launching a continuous event to support local residents by providing a non-discriminatory, open mic stage for live performances enriched by various backgrounds and lifestyles that give a dynamically authentic perspective to finding positivity... using art, poetry, music and comedy as a way to lift the spirit and heal the soul.
Location of event will be at the Self Designs Art Gallery, a local Black owned family business that serves to promote, inspire and entertain art lovers in the Lavender Heights and Handle Districts of Midtown, and surrounding Sacramento.
This 21+ event is a fun, safe LGBTQIA+ Pride Friendly Artist Zone, where we encourage all varieties of art and expression. FULL GALLERY ACCESS TICKETS are available with a donation online & at the door for guests.
UPPER LEVEL ONLY LOUNGE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS WHO REQUIRE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS & ELEVATOR USE. PLEASE CONTACT SELF AT (916)516-6479 FOR ACCESS.
*REFUND POLICY- As this Open Mic Series will be a continuous event offered by our gallery, your funds are used to support the artists and performers as well as providing art supplies for current students in our facility. Credits towards attending another event on the same or later date will be allowed for all ticket holders who show verification of online purchase.
