About this Event
The Duke Society of American Foresters (SAF) Annual Spring Symposium is a student-led, full-day professional conference that brings together forestry professionals, landowners, industry leaders, faculty, and students around a theme selected each year by SAF students.
The 2026 theme, Building Resilience in Uncertain Times, explores how the forestry sector is responding to market uncertainty, tariff shifts, and ecological pressures. The day is designed to move from historical context to present-day challenges and conclude with forward-looking insights that help guide the next generation of foresters, natural resources management, and conservation professionals.
