About this Event
If you are a member of a Scottish co-operative of any kind, or curious about what is going on in the sector, you are invited to join us for a full weekend of talks, workshops, communal eating and more! Full schedule to be announced soon.
The event will be a mixture of sharing information, reporting on current developments, discussing practicalities, and providing support for those who need it. We are aiming to connect co-operatives of different types (housing, workers, food co-ops, energy co-ops and more) to learn from each other, and how to act as a movement. What does the future of co-ops look like in Scotland? Let's find out, by building it, together!
Free to attend, and limited bursaries for travel are available. We will provide catering for the duration of the event on a pay-what-you-can basis.
The event is sponsored by Edinburgh Student Housing Co-operative through their Lottery Funding event grant, and jointly organised by members of SHRUB, Co-operate Scotland, Edinburgh Social Centre, and Bath Street Housing Co-op.
