THE BIG PICTURE OF BIOMIMICRY: Looking to non-human species for insights in design and engineering.
About this Event

As part of the Integrative Sciences Initiative at NC State we are holding a one-day event focused on biomimicry. We will begin the event with an open session in which scholars present their work and ideas. That session will be open to the NC State community and to the public, with the aim of involving those who are already actively engaged in biomimicry research and those who might seek to be engaged in the future. What is Biomimicry? We seek to unite and connect biomimicry research that is ongoing in disparate disciplines and to formulate a clearer, more interdisciplinary, holistic and strategic vision for the many kinds of molecular biomimicry.
