About this Event
Help shape the next chapter of culture in our town. Join artists, creatives, and community members for a morning of open conversation and collaborative planning.
About this event
What kind of town do we want Luton to be? How can arts and creativity thrive here?
We invite you to join us for The Future of Arts & Culture in Luton—a free event designed to bring together the people who make, experience, and support culture in our community. This isn’t a typical conference; it’s an Open Space event where your voice sets the agenda.
What is an Open Space?
Open Space is all about real conversation. There are no fixed panels, no long presentations, and no boring PowerPoints. Instead, the participants decide what topics matter most on the day.
It is a welcoming, accessible, and informal environment designed to make space for a wide range of voices—from professional artists and local partners to residents who just care about their neighbourhood.
Why should you attend?
The ideas and discussions from this session will feed directly into a new cultural strategy for Luton. This is your chance to share:
• What is currently working well in the local arts scene
• What challenges or barriers you are facing
• What kind of support, spaces, or infrastructure would help creativity flourish
You don’t need to be an expert or know anything about policy. All you need is an interest in the future of Luton and a willingness to take part in the conversation.
