About this Event
At Georgia Tech researchers and artists are incorporating AI into their research, art, and course design. The following works by Bojana Ginn, Mark Leibert, Brian Magerko, Milka Trajkova, and Gil Weinberg explore the possibilities and limits of AI within creativity.
Ginn incorporates AI-inspired design into her sculptures which are then fed to plastic-eating mushrooms as a comment on digitization, mental wellbeing, biotechnology, and the climate crisis. Leibert creates Vertically Integrated Programs (VIP) at Georgia Tech to study the collision between art and AI. Magerko and Trajkova use dancers and movement to train AI avatars to dance and move with humans, blending human artistry and embodiment with artificial intelligence. And Weinberg uses AI, robotics, music, and visuals to ponder the boundaries of AI and creativity.
