ESPERANCE!!After ten years of festivals of the southwest of WA, and interstate, it's high time the good ship The Lost Quays left port again to head for The Furthest Shore'! With our compass set for Esperance, we'll be calling in on the outward voyage at Merredin and Kalgoorlie, and return stops at Ravensthorpe, Lake Grace, and a final special informal (and free) concert at Wave Rock! There will also be workshops at Kalgoorlie and Esperance.
Expect a show with plenty of traditional shanties, originals and sea songs from the days of the tall ships. And no doubt a chance to sing along in a chorus or two! Performing in a mixture of a capella (unaccompanied) and with accompaniment from guitar, mandolin, bodhrán and concertina, The Lost Quays are known for their energy, strong harmonies, engaging performances and relish a good audience connection. Welcome on board!
