Course outline:
Our two-hour course introduces you to the key areas of the scheme and provides:
- A comprehensive understanding of the current HMRC guidelines
- A framework for identifying eligible clients and projects
- Access to an expert guide covering the fundamentals of the scheme
The course is delivered online in an interactive format:
- Small class sizes to allow time & space for questions and 1-1 support
- Engage in practical exercises designed to reinforce key concepts and facilitate hands-on learning
- Live learning experience led by R&D tax relief expert Jen Badger from WhisperClaims, via Zoom

Jen is a founding Director of WhisperClaims, and the in-house subject matter expert. Having worked in the R&D tax relief sector for over 10 years, she has a comprehensive and detailed understanding of all things R&D tax relief related. Jen helps users understand the scheme and the app, as well as working with the our in-house development team to translate this R&D tax relief knowledge into robust and usable software. The app has already been used to deliver over £160m+ in tax benefits to the clients of WhisperClaims customers.
Ideal for accountants and consultants looking to get to grips with the fundamentals of R&D tax and to build confidence in being able to offer a robust R&D service to their clients.
There are no pre-requisites to join the course.

The course will be delivered online via Zoom. To join the course, you will need a Zoom membership (any of the Zoom plans will work) and a laptop with connection to the Internet.
