string octets of Felix Mendelssohn and Kenji Bunch. One night only!
About this Event
The Stanislas Quartet, based in France, will join the Colorado Chamber Players quartet for a blockbuster program to finish the CCP’s 30th season. Described as “remarkable” and “breathtaking”, the Stanislas Quartet will perform Debussy’s stunning string quartet, composed in 1893 when Debussy was only 31 years old.
Together, the two ensembles will perform string octets by Kenji Bunch and Felix Mendelssohn. Mendelssohn’s string octet is a true tour de force! This concert will only be performed once in the Denver area, so don’t miss this spectacular end of the season performance!
