BLUE RIDGE SINGERS ANNOUNCES SPRING 2026 CONCERT SERIES

Shenandoah Valley, VA - Blue Ridge Singers, an acclaimed chamber choir, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey M. Alban, artistic director and conductor, is proudly presents “The French-American Connection” and more of the expected choral excellence with each performance.

Dr. Alban’s Program Notes:

As a part of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, Blue Ridge Singers invites you to our concert: The French-American Connection. America has had a close relationship with France across these two and a half centuries and many composers have been influenced by the modern French style, namely French Impressionism, whereby composers attempt to demonstrate color and light through the melodies and harmonies they employ. This concert will feature music by composers David Conte, Alfred Desenclos, Edgar Cosma, and Joseph Jongen. We will feature Jongen’s breath-taking Mass, Op. 130 with organ and brass ensemble in each of our four concert venues. Come, and be uplifted by this beautiful, inspiring music.
