Inside the Franco Zeffirelli Museum, the historic Oratorio of San Firenze offers one of the most atmospheric concert settings in the city. With its baroque vaulted ceiling decorated with frescoes and its intimate acoustics, the Oratorio was once used by the Filipino Fathers for sacred music. Today, it becomes the stage for timeless masterpieces performed in a setting that unites history, spirituality, and artistic beauty.
The concert is performed by the prestigious Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, founded in 1981 by Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading chamber ensembles, the Orchestra is admired for its refined interpretations and international reputation, with performances throughout Italy and abroad. Its musicians, professors of the Conservatorio di Firenze, embody the artistry and intimacy that chamber music requires.
