🔥 THE FORGE: A Gathering for a Nature-Informed Culture 🔥The world is shifting, and it’s time to move beyond just "preparing" and start building. We are coming together to create a model of living that doesn’t just weather the storms, but thrives in co-creative partnership with the natural world and our community.
Join usbat the Fireside Property in Oyster Cove for a four-day immersion into community resilience, social ecology, and collective vision.
🗺️ THE MISSION
Our goal for this weekend is to showcase a draft Roadmap of Resilience and evolve it together. We are on a mission to forge a plan, an annual calendar of events and a network of support that, we can use to uplift one another in both challenging times and times of abundance.
During the gathering, we will be opening up the Nature Culture WhatsApp space. This is our shared digital nervous system where you can:
List your skills and interests.
Offer land for gardening or workshops.
Connect with others to build a unified vision of strength and solidarity.
🛠️ The Work & The Wisdom
We believe in "thinking while doing." A few hours each day will be dedicated to a working bee to support the land and each other:
Land Projects: Garden building, track making, and winter prep (including chainsaw work for those experienced).
Skill Mapping: Identifying who brings what to our community so we can map the path forward.
Heart Space: Authentic Men’s and Women’s circles to share honestly about the state of our planet and our lives.
🥏 The Play & The Pulse
Resilience is underpinned by a foundation of playfulness! At the heart of our crew is a love for music, play, and celebration. Without this, what are we working for?
Frisbee Golf: We have a 9-hole course ready to go. Get yourself an ultimate frisbee and come ready to play, not essential of course, but a lot of fun.
Music: Bring your guitars and instruments for fireside sessions.
And Bring anything you think will be fun to offer up.
Families: This is a family-friendly space. Children are vital to this vision and are warmly invited to be part of the magic.
đź“‹ The Logistics
When: Friday, April 10th (3 PM) – Monday, April 13th (3 PM).
Investment: $150 per person (Covers all main meals, firewood, campground, and camp toilets). We'll be cooking meals that cater for gluten free and vegan folk as well as Meat eaters.
Please pay head of time, not in cash as we need to buy food.

We provide the fire, the food, and the draft roadmap. You provide the energy, the skills, and the presence. Let’s forge a culture of health and strength together.
