Have you ever looked at a forest as a partner that you can help in producing the things that we want, need and use every day? Are you sure you can see the forest, and not just the trees? To see how a state lands forester answers those questions come and take a walk on Friday April 24th from 11:00 – 1:00 to see the forest through a forester’s eyes in celebration of Arbor Day.
This walk is suitable for ages 8 and up and is an interactive experience that will challenge you to look at the forest in a way that you never have before.
Be prepared for the weather by wearing appropriate clothing and sturdy snow boots (traction devices, trekking poles and snowshoes may also be advisable). Inclement weather cancels.
This program is FREE and open for ages 8 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Program duration 2 hours.
