It’s 2026, we’re back, and our open mic nights are becoming ever more successful thanks to you! get involved and support local comedy.New Year Resolution: “I want to have a go at stand-up…” Well now’s your chance to sign up!
We always have a winner of our open mic nights, and they are invited to do a 15/20-minute slot at our following pro night to enhance their comedy journey and experience the big(ish) time.
For example, the amazing Eleanor Green won an open mic night at Fog Box, performed a mid-slot with the fantastic Paul Foot. He enjoyed her set so much, he invited her to perform with him in London, where she received a rapturous reception.
These slots and the waiting list fill up quickly, so please get in quick to avoid disappointment. We can also help first-timers and nervous comics with a pre-show chat and some techniques prior to going on; do connect with us via the usual channels if you’re unsure.
It’s free entry, and if you come along, you could be seeing the early days of the next Stewart Lee, Sarah Millican, or Sara Pascoe.
