*NOTE* There are no tickets/slotted signups for this event. Purchasing any listed 'ticket' is ONLY you supporting the sustained presence of weird live comedy and performance in this historic neighborhood arts space(for which we deeply appreciate you!)
DESCRIPTION:
In its third year, The Flambo mic continues to be a Silver Lake staple. Welcoming comedians from all over LA and beyond - put your funny stuff to the test for 3 glorious minutes. Hosted by Devon Kane and Ian Salazar.
Mic Details:
Every Saturday from 5pm to 7pm at the Lyric Hyperion. One item minimum. 10 sign-up slots and 10+ bucket spots.
Mic Guidelines:
We alternate between sign-up slots and bucket spots. The list to sign up opens at 4:30pm and there are 10 slots available. One cafe item minimum to sign up.
After the sign-ups are filled, we go to the bucket - which will be drawn in between the sign-up slots. To submit your name to the bucket, purchase one cafe item and put your name on the back of the receipt. Then throw that receipt in the bucket and let the bucket gods take over!
We cut off sign ups at 5:30pm.
Basic Mic Manners:
Don't be late.
Don't leave early.
Be supportive.
Racist/sexist/phobic junk should stay in your journal
