with your new child & your own health and wellness
About this Event
From the time we first hold our children in our arms, they are learning from us about attachment, touch and body awareness. We'll discuss how these feelings of love and connection relate to different theories around attachment styles. You'll learn about creating your own ways of establishing routines and daily interactions that can help establish a sense of security and well-being for your child. These approaches in your child's early years can be built upon as they grow and help them become more emotionally aware and learn the concepts around body autonomy that will help keep them safe, as well as respect the boundaries of others. As a parent, modeling behaviors will also help your children as they grow, and help you establish practices for your own health and well-being.
