"It ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it"Chances are that you already have lots of tango technique yet find yourself wondering if you could do more with it, get more satisfaction out of it, have better dances, and put a smile on your face. The answer is yes you can, and the key is to listen more, be more open, and generally do less to get more.
This day is about exploration of connection that allows this to happen - unlocking fluent, exciting and delightful tango. It's about allowing energy to flow to restore and nourish your dance soul. It's an opportunity to connect with like minded souls and to build and be part of a new community.
The day is in three parts
Three amazing workshops that will challenge and move you, opening up new ways of dancing your steps and being you, and allowing your partner to be them.
A communal meal to connect with friends old and new.
An evening dance where you can let rip with your new ideas. The music will be neo / alt / contemporary tango.
We will look at all of this through the lens of Argentine Tango. Other expressive and connected dance styles, such as blues, will find it equally valuable.

If we think of a dance as a conversation, then what can we say to each other in a world where we can invent new words and ways of responding?

How do we dance with feeling & expressing music? It's not all about the steps but it's all in the step.
And the step is in the elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Time, & Space.
