About this Event
In this powerful and personal 2-hour workshop, participants will learn about Daniel Callahan’s “MassQing” technique, which uses the human face as a canvas and facepaint as a tool for reflection and transformation. Inspired by global body-marking traditions, artist Daniel Callahan will guide participants in designing and painting their own “MassQs” to explore their identity, story, and creative self-expression.
Great for all ages, family friendly (children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).
Free; RSVP recommended as space is limited.
MassQing uses hypoallergenic, water-based children’s face paint. It is made for sensitive skin, and is 100% washable. Brushes will be sanitized.
