What is 'Fabricademy'?
An interdisciplinary program at the intersection of textiles, digital fabrication, and biology. It is focused on sustainable innovation and the development of new technologies applied to the fashion and wearables industries, and beyond. The program combines global expert-led online learning with hands-on making in local FabLabs and makerspaces, and project development. Fabricademy is under the umbrella of the Fab Foundation (fabfoundation.org) “Academany” program, which includes Fab Academy, Fabricademy, and the Fab Learning Academy, and originated out of MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms.
