On Wednesday, August 21 from 1pm-2:30pm, I'll present "The Everly Brothers: Rock's Greatest Harmonizing Duo" at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco at 3200 California Street. Don Everly and his younger brother Phil were among the greatest early rock stars, with vocal harmonies that influenced the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel, among many others. This program will feature hits like “Bye Bye Love,” “Bird Dog,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “Cathy’s Clown,” and others, as well as discussing their huge historical importance and legacy. Admission is free, though registration is recommended through https://www.jccsf.org/event/the-everly-brothers-rocks-greatest-harmonizing-duo/. This event will not be on Zoom or recorded.
