Originally started in San Francisco, Underground Nomads is a collaboration of DJs and dancers that aims to bring together a blend of the under and overground World dance music scene with a special touch focused on world beat. We are very excited to be bringing this event to back to Seattle!

The evening will include dance performances showcasing a whole range of ethnically diverse styles of traditionally inspired and urban fusion dance forms.
This event began as a way to recapture the legendary nights at Nickies where DJ Cheb i Sabbah, a legendary master of world music and internationally known as a sort of librarian of Asian, African and Middle Eastern music, opening a whole new universe in the possibilities of sound. DJ Amar started Underground Nomads together with Cheb i Sabbah, DJ Sep, Dulce Vita and Gina Grandi. Underground Nomads continues as a dedication to Cheb i Sabbah and a promise to keep the Global vibe that he was known for, inspired by his influence and inspiration for the dance floor, the global beat, live dancers and pushing boundaries of culture and sound
