A shared evening of witnessing, grief literacy, and body memory.
Join us for a community screening of The Eternal Song, a documentary that explores intergenerational trauma, ancestral memory, and the ways grief lives in the body—through Indigenous story, sound, and lived experience.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down and witness what many of us are carrying quietly: exhaustion, emotional weight, recurring dreams, and a sense that what we’re holding may not be entirely our own.
Following the screening, there will be a live conversation led by Anna, PhDc, founder of All Her Work Studios, exploring:
- How ancestral and inherited stress shows up as burnout
- Why grief often surfaces in the body before the mind
- The role of witnessing (not fixing) in nervous system repair
- An introduction to upcoming one-on-one somatic grief sessions and Her Rhythm retreats
🌱 This event is for:
- Women feeling burnt out, heavy, or emotionally saturated
- Community members curious about ancestral grief and body-based healing
- Practitioners, caregivers, and helpers holding too much
- Anyone sensing it’s time to listen to what their body has been trying to say
No prior knowledge of trauma work, Indigenous studies, or somatics is required.
🫖 What to expect:
- Documentary screening
- Gentle, accessible conversation
- Space for reflection (not performance)
- Tea and a calm, respectful environment
📌 Important details:
- This is a free event with limited seating
- Registration is required to reserve your spot
- Location details will be shared after registration
Grief doesn’t ask to be solved.
