The Erie Community Foundation traces its history back to 1935 when Elisha H. Mack, co-founder of the Boston Store, created a charitable endowment fund that fueled regional philanthropic efforts over the next three decades. In 1971, the fund was transformed into a public charity, officially becoming The Erie Community Foundation, which, today, has expanded its collection of 900-plus different locally-created endowment funds. Celebrating 90 years of investment and impact, ECF President and CEO Karen Bilowith will discuss the foundation's mission to inspire, engage, and empower donors and communities across the region who are making an impact in the place that we all call "home."*If purchasing a lunch, please register 48 hours in advance. Thank you!
