From November 15th to December 31st, 2024, community members are invited to vote for their favorite Black-owned businesses and leaders in Erie County across 12 distinct categories. These categories reflect the diverse talent, innovation, and dedication within our community:

* Barber Shop
* Music Entertainer
* Childcare Provider
* Auto Repair & Maintenance
* Convenient Store
* Sports & Recreation
* Caterer
* Construction Maintenance & Design
* Faith-Based Organization
* Community Organizations
In addition to these business categories, there are two special awards:
* The Changemaker Award: Honoring an individual who has profoundly impacted your life and the lives of others. Share their name, contact information, and why you believe they deserve this recognition.
* Trailblazer Award: African Entrepreneurs: Recognizing an African business owner who is leading the way and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps. Winners will be announced on January 2nd, 2025, and celebrated at the 3rd Annual GREENlight Awards Gala on February 28th, 2025, at the Ambassador Center.
