Drumming for Transformation and Self-Empowerment with Ken AnoffIn this powerful workshop, drummers of all levels will learn how to transform their drumming practice into an efficient and meditative process of enrichment. The results are not only better musicality, technique and rhythmic understanding, but also increased awareness, confidence and a personal sense of inner strength and well-being. Participants of any level of interest and experience are welcome and a loaner drum is available for those who need one.
Ken Anoff is a master drummer with 40 years of performing and teaching experience. He has taught percussion at the University of Maryland, at the Fukuoka School of Music College in Japan, and currently teaches music at The Foundation Academy here in Jacksonville. We warmly invite you to arrive at least 10 minutes early so you can settle in and fully enjoy the experience. Our events and classes begin and end on time to honor everyone’s practice. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees, presenters, and staff, doors will be closed at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals will not be able to enter once doors are closed, so we encourage you to plan to arrive a little early.
All reservations for Black Cat Yoga workshops and events are for the specific date purchased and are nonrefundable. In the rare case that a workshop or event is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund. Please note that absences or late arrivals cannot be refunded.
