About this Event
About
Our group is dedicated to fostering open, thoughtful conversations about death, dying, and the life that leads up to it. Our goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where people can explore topics surrounding mortality, share experiences, reflect on the inevitability of death, and, in turn, gain a deeper appreciation for life. We aim to dispel the taboo around discussing death, empowering members to confront fears, ask questions, and embrace this natural part of existence. We welcome anyone who is curious about death and mortality, whether you’ve personally experienced loss, work in end-of-life care, or are simply interested in exploring the profound questions that surround our final journey. This is a space for individuals of all walks of life—those seeking solace, connection, understanding, or a new perspective on death and dying. At our meet-ups, we will engage in respectful, open discussions about death, dying, grief, and related topics. Each event will center around a theme, such as preparing for the end of life, cultural perspectives on death, grief processing, or the afterlife. Activities may include group discussions, storytelling, guest speakers, and creative exercises like writing or reflecting on personal legacies. Our aim is to create a supportive environment for everyone to express their thoughts, listen, learn, and leave with a sense of connection and insight.
