The Empowered Woman Conference 2025-Power in Submission

The Empowered Woman Conference is designed to catapult women into their God given destinies by providing the tools necessary to accomplish it. This year's theme, POWER IN SUBMISSION, is a reminder to us that God has given us all that is necessary for us to succeed in every aspect of our lives BUT it becomes possible only when our lives are submitted to His authority. Come be a part of a life changing experience as we recieve insight from anointed speakers. We will also talk about submission to earthly authority and what submission in marriage looks like. There will be powerful praise and worship by Gospel Culture's Praise team. Main sessions by our speakers and a discussion panel where questions from the audience will be received . Lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Info: Dr. Chu-Takang serves with her husband Pastor Rene Takang as the shepherds over Gospel Culture Church. The Empowered Woman Conference was birthed out of her desire to see women be all that they have been created to be. As a practicing OB/GYN in Wichita Falls, she works with women at every stage of life. She is a mentor and life coach, with a passion for women of all ages, especially young adults. A mother to 3 beautiful biological children and several spiritual children, she is also an ordained Pastor and entrepreneur. When she is not caring for patients or planning ministry activities, she enjoys reading non-medical literature and spending time with friends and family.

Info: Brenita is a wife, mom, ordained minister, college basketball coach, mentor and entrepreneur. She has a penchant for building student-athletes into winners both on and off the court with a 100% graduation rate and more than 120 career wins. She is the current Head Coach at Midwestern State University and most recently turned around the Texas Wesleyan University where she won 52 games in 2 seasons while winning the program's first Sooner Athletic Conference Championship and advanced to the Round of 16 for the first time in program history. Brenita is co-owner of KBJ Academy with her husband Kevin Jackson to offer consulting, team building retreats and basketball camps. The duo have traveled all over the country serving more than 4,000 student athletes. In 2018 the Jacksons co-authored their first book called "Play College Basketball" as well as produced two Podcasts: "Coffee with KBJ" and "Hoops with KBJ". She gives God all the glory for her most beloved gift - her beautiful family.
