About this Event
Educational leadership development often focuses on the how — the skills, the strategies, the tools. But what if you have not first answered a more fundamental question: why do you serve as an Early Childhood Educator? In this workshop, we examine two very different reasons people step into eductaor roles — and why one of them quietly undermines everything an ECE leader tries to build. You will be invited to take an honest look at your own motivations, reflect on how they show up in your day-to-day practice, and consider what it truly means to lead in service of others rather than for the rewards your work brings. If you are an early childhood educator, carry responsibility for a room, a team, or a center, this workshop will challenge the way you think about your role — and why that matters deeply for everyone who depends on you.
