Lakeside favorite The Drowsy Lads kick off the 2026 Chautauqua season with their signature blend of spirited arrangements, original bluegrass tunes and a deep passion for traditional Irish music.Founded in 2003 by Columbus brothers Daniel and John McKewen and friend Bryan Brookes, the band later welcomed Josh Franck and his father, Phil, solidifying their place in the Irish music scene.
Each member is a skilled multi-instrumentalist, creating a rich, energetic sound with fiddle, button accordion, tenor banjo, flute, whistle, guitar, bouzouki, uilleann pipes, 5-string banjo, concertina and bodhrán.
