Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background. A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, he has played concerts in 100 countries and on about 80 cruises of Cunard and P&O ships.He has been soloist with many orchestras around the world, played in over 50 countries through US Embassies and Consulates as a kind of “cultural ambassador”, and was a prizewinner in ten international and national piano competitions when he was younger.
Roman Rudnytsky was also for many years a university professor of piano and music, mostly at Youngstown (OH) State University—Dana School of Music—where he got a “”Distinguished Professor Award” and, after retirement from there, was awarded the title “Professor Emeritus”.
