This supergroup features some of the world’s most talented performers from Broadway and beyond. Featuring stars from the Broadway shows Jersey Boys, Motown, Beautiful and Hairspray, DWP is inspired by inner city African American vocal groups like The Del Vikings, The Marcels, The Tymes and later The Four Seasons. DWP captures and delivers the classic sounds of the guys who, back in the day, harmonized with each other on stoops, in the subway, and on street corners.From there, this epic show expands the genre by incorporating the sounds of more contemporary artists such as Amy Winehouse, Garth Brooks, Daft Punk, and Taylor Swift, to name a few.
