Anatomy of a Meal -- Taking a Bite out of Food On Film
A viewing of Victoria Diana's short film Devour (21 minutes)--about a struggling chef reconnecting with an old flame over a familiar meal--will kickoff a tasty discussion of food as a powerful tool with select food scenes--from Pride + Prejudice to Inglourious Basterds--chosen by producer-writer Micah Khan.
Guest speakers: Victoria Diana + Micah Khan.
Moderated by Susie Davidson Powell, critic + founder of The Dishing dining guide. Small bites + cocktails/mocktails paired to the talk will be on sale in the café. Come early for the film-inspired tastes, stay to socialize. The Dishing's TINY Talks are bite-sized to fit midweek.
