Throw subtle out the window. You’re invited behind the curtain (and possibly into the chaos) for a Director’s Circle like no other at The Court Theatre.
Before Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen hits the stage, we’re cracking open the rehearsal room and spilling a few secrets. What actually happens before opening night? What goes wrong? What nearly didn’t make it? What keeps a director up at 2am?
Director Tim Bain joins MC Ben O’Brien-Limmer for an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes deep dive into the beautiful madness of making theatre. Expect stories from the rehearsal room, creative curveballs, last-minute saves, artistic arguments, happy accidents, and maybe a few things we’re not entirely supposed to admit.
This is an intimate, small-group session, so you’ll have plenty of time to ask the big questions, the nerdy questions, and the “be honest…” questions.
Tickets are just $15 and include a complimentary gin and tonic on arrival, thanks to our friends at Little Biddy, because all good secrets start with a drink in hand.
If you’ve ever wondered what really happens before the lights go up, this is your backstage pass.
All proceeds go to the Friends of The Court Theatre.
