BOYFRIEND MATERIAL:
Boyfriend Material is a Sydney-based indie trio. Formed in early 2024, the band has hit the ground running; writing, recording, and releasing two singles in their first year, with a third already on the way. Their sound — fuzzy guitars, layered harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics — comes to life in their
home studio, where they craft music that’s equal parts raw and relatable. They’ve also played over 20 live gigs in their debut year, building a reputation for their on-stage chemistry and ability to connect with a crowd. They have quickly made waves in their local scene, opening for notable acts like Press Club and Sloan Peterson. In 2025 they’re working on their debut EP and taking their blend of emotional storytelling and big, textured sound to the next level. Honest, energetic, and impossible to ignore, Boyfriend Material is a fresh voice in the Australian music scene — and they’re just getting started.
ALIYA:
ALIYA is a pop-rock musician from Sydney, Australia, drawing inspiration from powerhouses like Olivia Rodrigo, Maggie Lindemann, and Paramore’s Hayley Williams. Her music dives deep into the realms of thoughts that run through her head either in or out of a relationship.
