Proceeds from this event will directly support charitable causes that we support year round! The need is great and your assistance is invaluable.

Specific Causes of BWIO supported by these efforts:

• Support for Victims of Domestic Violence and their families — helping secure emergency housing, safety resources, health referrals (mental and physical) and essential needs during some of the most vulnerable moments in life. BWIO/CARLDEN supports 3 domestic violence shelters and other requests thoughout the year.

• Teen empowerment and mentorship — providing encouragement, life guidance, leadership exposure, and resources that help young people build confidence and envision a stronger future.

• Caregiver support through our“Caring for the Caregiver” initiative — uplifting those caring for aging parents, the elderly, and loved ones battling chronic illness.

• Food and nutritional support for patients in active medical crisis — assisting individuals undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other serious treatments so they do not have to fight hunger while fighting for their health. Recently we have added transportation support given the current economic crises.

Every act of generosity helps extend the impact of these efforts.

Almost 20 years after making their iconic turn as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation.
The film reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as “Lily” and “Irv” from the first film.
