Twenty years in the making… and now it’s time to celebrate 🥳 the legacy🎓, the love🩷, and the lifelong bonds that only HBCUs create. This won’t be just any gathering — no “ole heads” sitting around giving long-winded glory-day speeches. This is about reclaiming the energy, the joy, and the magic of those nights when all we needed was food, a DJ, and each other 🫂.
We owe it to our HBCUs to bring back the vibe😎. This is a celebration of culture, community, excellence, and everything that shaped us.
So let’s get ready to party at the ultimate PAJAMA JAM!
Yes — that means pajamas. And don’t treat this like a pool party where you show up in anything except swimwear. This is a PAJAMA JAM🎉 — bring the slippers, the silk sets, the college tee under the robe. Come comfortable, come cute, come committed to the theme. Leave yo bonnets at the crib though. 🙅🏾♀️
Your ticket 🎟️ gets you entry, a soul food buffet*, and a night soaked in HBCU vibes — music🎤, laughter 😂, dancing 💃🏾🕺🏾 and that special kind of fellowship you can’t recreate anywhere else.
This celebration is us showing up for each other, still building, celebrating 20 years strong 💪🏾
PLEASE NOTE: Single ticket purchases are available for $50, but do not guarantee seating at a table. Dinner will be served on a first come first served basis.
The DHN will extend the option to purchase a table for 10 people for $400, via Venmo, CashApp or by check to avoid fees. This option is NOT for single ticket purchases. If interested in purchasing a table please contact us at [email protected] or 313-585-4693.
Lastly, we are looking for volunteers for setup, registration and breakdown to make sure the PAJAMA JAM starts and end successfully. If you are interested in making this happen, click the link below.
