David Mayfield grew up touring with his family’s bluegrass band before earning national recognition as a standout guitarist and mandolin player. A natural entertainer, he first turned heads as a sideman with his sister, Jessica Lea Mayfield—including an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman—and later as a member of Cadillac Sky, performing to sold-out crowds alongside Mumford & Sons.
Inspired by great songwriters like Randy Newman and Simon & Garfunkel, Mayfield began crafting his own material, quickly earning acclaim for both his writing and musicianship. Today, he’s known for high-energy performances, sharp storytelling, and a stage presence that keeps audiences coming back for more.
