The Dark Side of Women's Work This talk will focus on Colorado's (and the West's) underworld through the eyes of prostitutes and clairvoyants. These women might have been called "good time girls" but many were astute businesswomen. A rolicking talk about fortunes, sex, drugs, and rock n' roll - 1890s style.
Presenter: Randi Samuelson-Brown is a 5th generation Coloradan from Golden. She is a self-professed history nerd and author of several books, both fiction and non-fiction, including: Market Street Madam, Bad Old Days of Colorado, and The Western Horse.
