Featuring Circuit Witch, the extraterrestrial DJ whose music takes you on a cosmic journey! Hailing from outer space, Circuit Witch crash landed in Fredericton, New Brunswick!
Delving into niche genres, Circuit Witch will be preparing to launch you back into the 80’s and transport back into the present for some darkwave, goth, industrial, ebm and more!
Circuit Witch has played at numerous locations across North America: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Delaware, Washington DC, Saint John and Fredericton New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Toronto and to the west in California. They also DJ weekly on Twitch with a 3.9K following!
The original Dark Eighties night started in Vancouver 12 years ago at a dive bar with chequered floors called The Astoria. We've since done a few parties around the world in NYC, London, Montréal and Auckland. But Halifax stands out as an especially fun city with an amazing crowd!
Although there are certainly imitators, nothing's like an original THE DARK EIGHTIES dance night! ;)

How shall I dress on a night like this?
Although there is no dress code, we strongly encouraged getting dressed up for your big night out! Big hair, wild + creative outfits, hairspray, loads of 80s style make up, fetish, deathrock/batcave style looks, leather, heels, buckles, jewelery, studs, lace, fishnets, eyeliner, black, bin bags, big boots, Bowie style + new romantics, and home made outfits all encouraged!
But dress how you feel best! There are no rules about clothing, hair or make up and everyone has their own unique style 😉
