We are hosting a celebratory unveiling of The Dark Crystal and YOU ARE INVITED! Join us for a fun and free event on Saturday, April 4, at 12pm to celebrate our acquisition of the Crystal of Truth (later known as “The Dark Crystal”) screen-used prop from the Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. The prop was on the block at the Jim Henson Company 70th Anniversary Auction held by Julien's Auctions in November 2025. It was the first-ever official auction to offer the Jim Henson Company puppets, props, and memorabilia in celebration of the Company’s storied seven decade legacy. Jim Henson himself was a University of Maryland alumnus, and we are proud to exhibit this extraordinary artifact in Maryland. In addition to the unveiling of the Crystal, the we will be offering an exciting new selection of officially licensed Jim Henson Company merchandise!
