Join a ONE DAY workshop. Learn a traditional craft and leave with a beautifully handcrafted stool. These small-group workshops are designed to be calm, creative, and genuinely enjoyable. Unlock your hidden Hans Wegner!

What you’ll learn

– Basic Danish cord weaving skills and weave your own stool.
– Prepare legs/frame, including light sanding, oil finish, followed by the weaving.
– Materials: We only use premium-quality beech and Danish cord, and the frame is flawlessly hand-machined in Manchester.
– Tools and Equipment: All necessary tools and equipment for the workshop are provided.
– You don’t need prior experience, just nimble fingers! Beginners welcome.

Some extra details

– This will be a small group with 5-7 participants.
– Cake and drinks are provided, as is a nice bit of chit-chat.
– Size: Width: 410mm x Depth: 330mm x Height: 360mm. Solid beech, manufactured in the UK.
– Danish cord – traditional natural and black options (black is an extra £5.00). Note: Black cord is slightly harder to work with.
