About this Event
In this moment in time, we recognize the many challenges nonprofit and community leaders are facing as they search for different ways to navigate and adapt in a rapidly changing nonprofit landscape.
Join us over lunch as we bring together various thought leaders to share stories, practices, and resources centered around meeting this moment. We will kick-off the convening with a panel conversation focused on how nonprofits can navigate and adapt in the face of change followed by guests connecting with one another to reflect, offer thought partnership, and discuss where we can go from here.
Join us in-person to hear from the amazing leaders below:
- Ajara Alghali, Co-founder and Director, TeMaTe Institute for Black Dance and Culture
- Meredith Freeman, Director of Alignment and Impact Investing, Max & Marjorie Fisher Foundation
- Kelley Kuhn, President and CEO, Michigan Nonprofit Association
- Monique Stanton, President and CEO, Michigan League for Public Policy
- Ezekiel Harris, Executive Director, Co.act Detroit (moderator)
This special event is part of The Dandelion Gatherings, a convening series from the Transforming Solidarity Collective (Michigan Community Resources, NEW, Michigan Nonprofit Association, CDAD, and Co.act Detroit). These moments are designed to inspire, equip, and connect nonprofit leaders with one another as they work toward building a just and thriving society in a rapidly changing nonprofit landscape. Dandelions symbolize resilience, hope, and transformation, stemming from their ability to thrive and multiply in tough conditions.
