While the nasal destructions began in the Old Kingdom, they also occurred in the Middle and New Kingdom.In this talk, Justin explores this strange phenomenon and proposes some remarkable explanations. This is the second of three talks about Ancient Egypt to be held in Somerset this spring by local author Justin Newland. An entertaining speaker, he’s given over 70 talks to local societies in and around the South West.
He’s also the author of The Genes of Isis, an epic story set under ancient Egyptian skies, and five other historical fiction novels, with another to be published in July. Justin holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College, London, and lives with his lady in plain sight of the Mendip Hills in Somerset.
