The Culture Lab: Afro Futurism
Join us in person for an exciting dive into Afro Futurism at The Culture Lab!
This free workshop invites Black and racialized youth in the Durham Region to explore Black art forms in a culturally affirming, supportive environment. Participants will learn about the history, meaning, and creative techniques behind Black artistic traditions while creating their own artwork.
The session is guided by an experienced Black artist who has extensive experience working with children and youth. All materials are provided, and no prior art experience is required.
